Who is InstallersBookkeeper?

    We were installers with over 28 years experience in the floor covering business, over 20 years of that as installers. We now operate an accounting and tax business called Pioneer Accounting Service. With our knowledge and experience in both fields, we decided to offer flooring installers who desire to operate their business in a professional manner an easy and affordable way to keep accurate records of their business activity as the law requires. What do your services cost?

    We feel that most installers will be able to use our service for the low basic rate of $34.95 per month. If you have employees and need additional services such as payroll, filing quarterly reports or you sell products that require sales and use tax reports, etc., an additional low fee will be added. Give us a call or email us any questions you may have about additional services. Since these are additional, service can vary from from person to person. We can tailor our services to fit your needs at a reasonable price. Top

What services are included in the basic rate?

    We will keep track of your income and expenses for the year and send reminders of when estimated payments are due and how much you should send. We will also provide you with a filing system to keep track of receipts and papers you need to save. You will be able to access important tax tips for business owners which will be available on our web site. You can call us toll free during business hours with questions. We will be happy to help you. For Example; if you face a business decision and want to know the tax consequences, you can call us to discuss it.(e.g.- should I lease or buy my work vehicle)
Also included; The tax preparation of your income taxes at the end of the year*see footnote. Many will find that the cost of our service for the whole year is not much more than they pay for just having their taxes prepared at the end of the year. Top

Do I need any bookkeeping experience to use your service?

    No. You do not nee to know anything about bookkeeping to use our service. The form you report income and expenses to us on is very simple and easy to use We endeavored to make it as user friendly as possible. Top

How do you keep track of my income and expenses?

    Once you have signed up for our services, you will be able to log onto our web site with a user name and password we will give you. A form will come up that only requires you to plug in amounts in the various categories of expenses and income on the form. You will find this very easy to use. You can log on as often as you wish to report business expenses you have paid or income you have received. We usually recommend that you do this once a week. Top

Is there another way I can provide you my information other than over the internet?

    Yes. We can provide you with paper copies of the form you would use online and you can either mail them to us or fax them using our toll free number. You may also call us with the information using our toll free number. Top

Is your service only for floor covering installers?

    No. While it is geared mainly for floor installers, it can easily be adapted to most any kind of business or trade. Give us a call or email us to discuss your needs. Top

How do I pay for your services?

    We accept payment through Paypal, by credit card or through direct transfer from a checking or savings account. The latter is our preferred method of payment. Checks or money orders may also be sent to our office. There is no charge to set up an account with Paypal. Top

When is payment due?

    Once you have set up your Paypal account, you will automatically be billed once a month from the date you sign up. Payment should be made within 10 days of receipt of the bill thru Paypal. Top

Do I have to commit to a certain length of time when I sign up?

    No. We provide services on a month-to-month basis. The only requirement we have for getting your taxes done at the end of the year at no additional cost, is that you must have been a client for at least the last three months of the year. Otherwise, a $75.00 fee will apply for tax preparation service. However, once you have been a client for at least three full months of the next year, this fee will be refunded or applied to future services. Top

* You must have been a client for at least the last three months of the year to be eligible for this feature, otherwise an additional fee of $75.00 will be charged for this service. However, this fee will be refunded after you have been a client for another full three months.
